David (Dai) Bennett BEM
I received this today from David's daughter -
I am David (Dai) Bennett's daughter, and I wanted to inform you that Dad sadly passed away on 15th June after a very short illness.
I know Dad was very proud of his time with the King's Troop.
The funeral is 11am, Friday 17th July at Barham Crematorium, Canterbury if anyone would to attend. There is also a celebration of his life at the Masonic Hall, Snargate Street, Dover following the service.

The King's Troop Association will be holding its AGM at King George VI lines on Saturday 17th October at 1100hrs in the Troop History room.
Timings are as follows -
10:30 Meet up at The King's Troop (tea and coffee provided)
11:00hrs meeting starts
Committee reports
Commanding Officer report
Meeting closes.
Tour of camp
1230 Lunch.
